How quotations, samples, orders and freight work with us, written to be read rather than skipped.

About this site
This website is operated by Dongguan Dingzhipin Hatting Co., Ltd., trading as Apex Headwear. We manufacture custom headwear for wholesale buyers. We do not sell to consumers and there is no checkout: everything begins with an enquiry and ends with a quotation you either accept or do not.
Prices shown on this site
Every price, lead time and freight figure on this website is indicative. They illustrate what a typical order costs; they are not an offer and we are not bound by them.
Your actual price depends on fabric, decoration method, quantity, colour count and destination. The binding figure is the one on the written quotation we send you for your specific order. If a number here and a number on your quotation disagree, the quotation is the one that counts.
Samples
We make a sample before bulk production so you can approve the real thing rather than a photograph. The sample fee and courier cost are quoted before you pay anything.
Revisions to the sample are free and unlimited until you approve it. What is not covered is changing to a different product: if you approve a sample and then ask for a materially different cap, that is a new sample.
Orders
An order begins when you pay the deposit of 50%. Before that point either of us may walk away without cost.
Bulk production starts only after you have approved the sample in writing. We will not begin cutting on a verbal agreement, which protects both of us.
Production time of around 15 days runs from sample approval, not from the deposit.
Freight
Freight quoted before production is an estimate based on expected packed weight. It is recalculated on actual chargeable weight once your goods are boxed, because that is the figure the carrier bills against.
Where the recalculated figure is higher, we will tell you before shipping and you may choose a different service. Where it is lower, the difference is yours.
Your artwork
When you send us a logo, design or reference, you confirm you are entitled to have it manufactured. We are not able to verify who owns a trademark and we rely on you here.
Your artwork stays yours. We use it to make your goods and for nothing else. We will not put your finished caps on this website or in any other marketing without asking you first.
If a third party claims your design infringes their rights, we will stop production and tell you immediately.
Quality and defects
Goods are inspected before packing. If something is wrong when your shipment arrives, tell us within 15 days of delivery with photographs, and we will agree a remedy: replacement, rework, or a credit.
Small variations between the approved sample and bulk production are normal in garment manufacturing, particularly in dye lot and in embroidery placement within ordinary tolerance. These are not defects.
What we are not responsible for
We are responsible for making your goods correctly and for the value of the order itself. We are not responsible for indirect losses beyond that, such as lost profit or a missed event, which we have no way to foresee or price.
Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the People’s Republic of China. If we disagree about something, we would both rather solve it in a conversation than a courtroom, and we will always try that first.
